Civil Rights Movement

In preparation for Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday, students this week have been studying the Civil Rights Movement by watching a documentary of Dr. King's life.

Students were asked to take notes during the movie and then write a reflection for homework.

After a class discussion today, students shared their writing and began creating posters to display around campus. The purpose of these posters will be to inform the audience about events that took place and how those events changed American history.
